National Night Out

A woman and a man stand together outdoors at a crowded event, both wearing sunglasses. The woman is dressed in a white polo shirt, white pants, and a navy cap, smiling with her hand on her hip. The man is in a dark suit with a white shirt and patterned tie, also smiling.

For the FBI San Diego Citizens Academy Alumni Association, National Night Out is a meaningful annual event that strengthens community trust and promotes public safety through partnership and engagement. Together with the FBI and local law enforcement agencies, our members help bridge the gap between citizens and those who protect them.

At our booth, alumni share information on internet safety, scam prevention, and child protection, while inviting attendees to explore interactive activities—such as trying on tactical vests, examining fingerprint patterns, or viewing a surveillance robot up close.
