FBI ChildID App

The FBI offers a Free Child ID App for Android mobile phones and Apple devices. The application can be downloaded for free from the Android Apps section of Google Play and the iTunes Store.

FBI Child Identification ProgramThe Child ID App provides parents with an easy way to electronically store pictures and vital information about their children in case they go missing. Using the app, you can show pictures of your kids and provide physical identifiers such as height and weight to security or police officers on the spot. You can also quickly and easily email the information to authorities with a few clicks. The app also includes tips on keeping children safe as well as specific guidance on what to do in those first few crucial hours after a child goes missing.

FBI Safe Online Surfing “S.O.S” Challenge

The FBI-SOS (Safe Online Surfing) Internet Challenge is a FREE, educational, fun online program that promotes online safety and cyber citizenship. The program teaches students in 3rd through 8th grades how to recognize and respond to online dangers and provides vital Internet safety guidance in an interesting, competitive format.

FBI Safe Online Surfing “S.O.S” ChallengeFBI-SOS is open to all public and private schools nationwide. Only an Internet connection is needed to participate. The program runs each month, September through May. Topics include Protecting Personal Information, Online Predators, Cyber bullying, Instant Messaging, Social Networking, Cell Phone Safety and Gaming Safety.
